VITILAN U7 Step-Through Fat Tire Electric Bike Canada
Détails du produit
The VITILAN U7 pairs a low step-through frame with 20 x 4-inch tires and a removable 48V 20Ah battery. Its appeal is access and seated comfort: a front suspension fork and suspension seatpost accompany hydraulic disc brakes. All Canadian colours are currently sold out. Use this page to compare the U7 with the smaller-battery U3 before choosing a future restock.
The U7 suits riders prioritising a low frame opening, hydraulic brakes and a 20Ah battery over the U3 price advantage. A suspension seatpost is not rear-wheel suspension. The U7 remains a substantial bike, and stepping through the frame does not eliminate the need to balance or support it.
A lower frame opening matters
The U7 step-through frame lets you mount without swinging a leg over a high top tube. That is useful when comparing riding positions or carrying items on a rear rack. It does not make the bike a mobility aid or guarantee a fit. Check saddle height, reach and your ability to hold the bike upright before choosing this substantial folding model.
A larger battery than the U3
The U7 uses a removable Samsung 48V 20Ah battery, giving 960Wh nominal capacity. The U3 pack is 48V 13Ah, or 624Wh. More stored energy is useful when comparing similar riding conditions, but it does not guarantee a particular distance. The Canadian dealer brochure gives up to 80 km; plan a shorter route with reserve for load, weather and hills.
Hydraulic brakes and four-inch tires
The U7 combines 180 mm hydraulic disc brakes with 20 x 4-inch tires. The wider tires and brake specification are key differences from the U3, which has three-inch tires and mechanical brakes. Maintain the recommended tire pressure and inspect the braking system regularly. Tire width alone cannot guarantee grip on wet surfaces, loose material, snow or ice.
Comfort at the fork and saddle
A suspension fork cushions the front wheel, while the suspension seatpost acts beneath the saddle. This arrangement is different from the rear-wheel suspension on the I7 Pro 3.0. Seven Shimano gears let you adjust pedalling effort alongside the motor assistance. For storage, follow the folding instructions and check the space available; the Canadian comparison lists a weight of approximately 32.9 kg.

Canadian availability and ownership
All Canadian colours are currently sold out. No restock date is confirmed.
These high-power configurations are not represented as road-legal e-bikes across Canada. Check provincial and municipal requirements before purchase, including motor limits and permitted riding locations. A speed setting alone does not establish eligibility. Ride only where this configuration is permitted.
VITILAN publishes an 18-month limited manufacturer warranty for this model. Contact Street Rides with your order details for support. Eligibility and exclusions follow the published warranty terms. Normal wear, misuse and unauthorised modifications are excluded; installation labour for replacement components is the customer's responsibility.
