Start with the drivetrain, not the AWD name

The Carbon ZEUS Max is a configurable 1170Wh platform. Its selector includes Belt Drive 2WD, Gear Drive 2WD, Belt Drive 4AWD, and Gear Drive 4AWD, so the AWD product name does not describe every purchasable board. Each drive choice can be paired with 120mm Discovery Cloudwheels, 150mm pneumatic tires, or 175mm pneumatic tires, then routed through a listed USA or China warehouse.

Shared chassis and battery

All captured variants use a Samsung 50S 13S5P battery rated at 25Ah and 1170Wh. Ownboard lists customized 6574 motors, a Hobbywing 9028 ESC, OLED remote, smart power-on, CNC hangars, forged TKP baseplates, and Riptide WFB 96A pivot cups. The 3K carbon-fibre deck is described as wider and longer than the Carbon ZEUS Pro, but no dimensions are published. Listed board weight is 16kg and maximum payload is 120kg.

Performance claims need a variant label

Ownboard claims up to 60 km/h and a 30% hill rating. The range line says up to 40 miles with 2WD; no separate 4AWD distance is provided. The product page also uses 175mm tires as its generic wheel specification even though two other wheel formats are sold. The exact selected drive and wheels should remain beside every performance statement.

Included hardware and charging

The package list includes an assembled board, OLED remote, 5A 650W GAN charger, regional adapter, T-tool, bash guards, handle, and silicone sleeves. Belt-drive versions include extra belts; gear-drive versions include gearbox grease. Ownboard does not state a full-charge time.

Canadian ordering note

The product page says 365 days of warranty, while policy pages say 90 or 180 days. Canada delivery estimates also conflict. The shipping page lists 55-65 days by sea or 25-30 days by air; the FAQ says 15-20 days. Confirm the variant, warehouse route, duties, returns, warranty, and local riding rules before purchase.
