ENGWE M20 Moped-Style Fat Tire Electric Bike
The ENGWE M20 is a moped-style electric bike built for riders who want real versatility. It combines a 750W brushless hub motor, full suspension, and 20-inch fat tires into a single all-weather machine. You get the upright riding posture of a moped, the grip of a fat tire bike, and the comfort of a fully suspended frame.
Motor and Performance
The rear hub motor runs at 750W continuous with a 1000W peak output. That gives you strong torque from a standstill and enough power to climb hills at a steady pace. Top speed reaches 45 km/h. Five levels of pedal assist let you choose between saving battery and pushing speed. A thumb throttle gives you full motor power without pedalling.
Battery and Range
The integrated 48V 13Ah lithium-ion battery sits in the rear rack housing. On a single charge you can ride up to 75 km on pedal assist, depending on terrain and rider weight. ENGWE also offers a dual-battery version with a 48V 26Ah pack that doubles range to 150 km. Charging from empty takes 6 to 7 hours using the included charger.
Full Suspension System
A front hydraulic suspension fork and a rear coil shock work together to absorb bumps from roads, curbs, and light trails. The moped frame geometry keeps your weight centred over the bike. Combined with the 20×4.0 inch fat tires, the M20 handles rough pavement, gravel, and uneven terrain without punishing your hands or back.
Brakes and Gearing
Front and rear 160mm mechanical disc brakes deliver reliable stopping power in dry and wet conditions. The Shimano 7-speed rear derailleur lets you shift through a wide gear range. Lower gears keep your cadence comfortable on climbs. Higher gears let you cruise efficiently at speed without spinning out.
Display and Lights
A backlit colour LCD display shows your speed, battery level, pedal assist mode, and trip data at a glance. Integrated front and rear LED lights are wired directly to the battery so they never run out on their own. The handlebar layout is clean and simple with controls within easy reach.
Frame and Build
The aluminium alloy frame supports a maximum rider weight of 120 kg. The M20 itself weighs 34.8 kg. This is a dense, solid bike that feels planted on the road. It is built to handle daily commuting use year-round, not just occasional weekend rides.
Who Should Buy the ENGWE M20
The M20 suits commuters and adventure riders who want one bike that does everything. If you want the moped look, fat tire stability, full suspension comfort, and enough range to skip the car for most trips, the M20 delivers at a strong price point for Canada.
